CDR. GREENE'S BUGLE

1. The inscription on the photograph is in CDR. Greene's hand and reads, " Bugle used for ship's evolutions, 1963-1964. Note the dents from having been whacked on ratlines by ship's company."

Shortly before CDR. Greene left the Strauss for a new duty station, the bugle came up missing, and about 3 months later a package arrived, and it contained his bugle.
